Rhipsalis elliptica is a lush hanging plant that has long rounded (elliptical) stem segments with soft frilled edges.
Rhipsalis are epiphytic plants, and do best planted in a well-drained medium. This specimen is planted in coir and perlite: let it dry out completely between waterings (the mix will harden), and water less in winter. They grow best in part shade, but can cope with full sun conditions, and some will colour up with more sun and neglect. They look great in hanging baskets and are easy to propagate.
This specimen is growing in a 90cm pot and has stems up to 15cm long. You are buying the full plant as pictured.
We deliver our plants locally and interstate, except for Western Australia, Tasmania and the Northern Territory for quarantine reasons. Plants requiring shipping are posted on Mondays to minimise the time in transit. All other items will be posted within 2 business days of receiving your order.
