About Monte Lupo Arts
Monte Lupo Arts was established in 1991 as a ceramics studio that creates employment for people with disabilities. Over the years, the studio has diversified the range of products being made in order to expand its employment and training opportunities for artists. The studio currently employs 17 artists living with disabilities and 6 arts workers to mentor and train everyone in the studio. Monte Lupo’s ethos is all about creative collaboration, so every person in the studio has a hand in making every piece of artwork: from unloading clay off pallets, loading kilns, and selling the artwork, they are a team of artists wanting to make beautiful artwork for everyone to enjoy.
