Kokedama Workshop (22 September 2019)
Kokedama Workshop 11–1pm with Akemi Cade.
Kokedama translates as "moss balls" and is a unique style of displaying plants without pots. This traditional Japanese art involves wrapping a plant's root ball in moss and twine to create a living planter that can then be suspended from string or displayed on driftwood or in a container. In this workshop, you will create two kokedamas to take home using a selection of plants from Plant Empire.
All levels of plant experience welcome. Please wear closed shoes, clothes you can get dirty (or an apron), and your own gardening gloves if you're allergic to latex.
Multi-pass discount: Sign up for 2 or more Plant Empire events, or register 2 or more people for the same event, to receive 10% off the ticket price (discount will appear at checkout).
