Macrame Wall Hanging Workshop (14 September 2019)
Macramé Workshop with Kylie Connor: 10am–1pm Saturday 14 September.
Macramé is a traditional textile art with origins in Arabic culture, and has been used through the ages to decorate trims of woven fabrics. Organic cotton, linen or jute fibres work beautifully to decorating plants and plant lovers' homes.
In this workshop, you will learn all of the essential knots so that you can go forth and entangle yourself in the charming world of macramé creation. Kylie will show you how to make your very own macramé wall hanging to take home at the end of the workshop.
Register for the 2-hour workshop later in the day (and save 10% on both workshops) to extend your newfound skills to making a plant hanger as well.
All levels of plant experience welcome. All materials and equipment to make your macramé will be supplied: just bring your creative spirit! Light refreshments will be provided.
Cost: $110 / $99 (Multi-pass)
Multi-pass discount: Sign up for 2 or more Plant Empire events, or register 2 or more people for the same event, to receive 10% off the ticket price (discount will appear at checkout).
