Sip and Make... Macrame Wall Hanging (29 November 2019)
Sip and Make... Macramé Wall Hanging Workshop with Kylie Connor: 6–9pm Friday 29 November.
Join us for a drink or meal after work from Andonis Cafe and create your own macramé project to take home.
Macramé is a traditional textile art with origins in Arabic culture, and has been used through the ages to decorate trims of woven fabrics. Organic cotton, linen or jute fibres work beautifully to decorating plants and plant lovers' homes.
In this workshop, you will learn all of the essential knots so that you can go forth and entangle yourself in the charming world of macramé creation. Kylie will show you how to make your very own macramé wall hanging to take home at the end of the workshop.
All levels of plant experience welcome. All materials and equipment to make your macramé will be supplied: just bring your creative spirit! Light refreshments will be provided.
Cost: $110 / $99 (Multi-pass)
Multi-pass discount: Sign up for 2 or more Plant Empire events, or register 2 or more people for the same event, to receive 10% off the ticket price (discount will appear at checkout).
