Purple Shamrock Plant (Oxalis triangularis)
Oxalis triangularis is also known as the purple or false shamrock plant, due to its triangular clover-like leaves. Its leaves open during the day and fold up at night in response to changes in light.
This pretty plant likes a bright spot indoors or a shaded spot outdoors. Despite looking quite delicate, they are quite easy to grow due to their bulbs but will thrive with bright light and good drainage.
The plants we have for sale are planted in 100mm pots with stems that are 20-30cm long. You will either receive the same plant in the photo or one chosen at random from the same batch.
We deliver our plants locally and interstate, except for Western Australia, Tasmania and the Northern Territory for quarantine reasons. Local deliveries can be made most days, while plants requiring shipping are posted on Mondays to minimise the time in transit. All other items will be posted within 2 business days of receiving your order.
