There is the red and white striped big top, a monkey, elephant, rings of fire, balancing balls and stands for the performing animals; but no animals have been harmed to bring you this circus extravaganza! It is designed to sit in your garden amongst your plants or even on a deck surrounded by pot plants and will possibly be the brightest and most interesting item in your garden.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eAbout the artist.\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eI love the exploration and experimentation opportunities that ceramics give me and regularly try new ideas. All of my work is hand-built and ranges from garden sculptures to vases, wall hangings, decorated spheres and kitchenware. The pieces always include some form of texture, pattern or decorative 3-D sculptural elements created using fabric, ceramic tools, stamps, and cutters. I also love colour which is always carefully thought out and incorporated into my work. Most pieces make use of underglazes, commercial crystal glazes and usually a combination of gloss and matt clear glaze to finish the pieces. I love to make items that are unique, one-of-a-kind, sometimes quirky and unusual, always different. As they are hand-built, no two pieces are ever the same. I have worked in art in some capacity whether full-time, part-time or as a hobbyist since the 1990s exploring painting, textile art, mosaics and, for the last few years, ceramics.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eCollection or delivery.\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThis item is part of the Not My Monkey Art Exhibition, on display at Plant Empire from 25 July - 16 August 2026.
