This is a limited edition print is rendered in oil based black ink onto sepia coloured paper, presented in a black frame.

About the artist.

Mia is a printmaker and visual artist celebrating the joyful evanescence of the botanical world. Her work begins with small detailed drawings of simple garden pleasures like nasturtiums, sugarbag bees, visiting magpies and flowering gums - rendered simply in graphite, watercolour or ink. Compositions are further developed in ink and influenced by her passion for vintage botanical illustration; before eventually being hand drawn onto linoleum for carving, or copperplates for etching. These final plates are slow printed on an antique printing press in her home studio. Mia's prints are presented on archive quality hot pressed paper for hanging, on high quality linen for wearing, and in hand bound artists books for the avid writer or artist to further embellish.
