It was only recently that I watched this cable series in full. It inspired me to pick up my paintbrushes and reminded me why I fell in love with Montana 30 years ago when my husband and I eloped in Las Vegas and spent our honeymoon camping through America's National Parks. As I do with all popular cable shows, I put my writer's hat on to understand their mass audience appeal. I believe that the success of Yellowstone is because it is a modern day \"Dallas\" (as in the popular TV show in the 1970-1980s) with JR on a horse. With my analytical hat on, I wondered if the hard-working \"take no monkeys\" approach of Cowboys and Native Americans struck a chord with viewers who crave certainty in a topsy-turvy world. After a career in the private and public sector, Glenys has been a full-time carer for the last 15 years. During this time, Glenys resumed her love of the creative arts and is inspired by the beauty and patterns found in nature.
