She has always found pleasure and purpose in creating things, and from an early age loved to draw, paint, sew, print and make gardens. Megan trained at the Brisbane Institute of Art and TAFE, focussing on drawing and figurative painting. Her current sculptural practice began after attending a fibre art workshop about a decade ago where she was inspired by the possibilities of merging her love of nature with her interest in texture, fabric, form and line. Megan’s use of recycled and foraged materials is a deliberate aim to tread lightly with her practice. She enjoys the challenge of using them in unexpected, sustainable and enduring ways. Her hope is that like nature itself, her pieces evoke a sense of timelessness, harmony and wonder.

Collection or delivery.

--Due to plant materials being used in this artwork, this item is only suitable for collection or delivery by courier within QLD, NSW, SA or VIC (not NT, TAS or WA).
