Yoga for Anxiety (6:30pm Tue 24 March)
Yoga for Anxiety 6:30–7:30pm Tuesday with Porscha Cox.
Yoga is a simple and effective tool to help manage both mild and stronger moments of anxiety and are also helpful in alleviating the symptoms of day-to-day stress that we all experience. In this special 5-week course on Yoga for Anxiety, you will learn particular breathing styles, asanas (Yoga poses), and mindfulness techniques to help relieve an anxious and overwhelmed mind.
Every Tuesday evening for five weeks, we will flow through peaceful and calming yoga techniques that you can practice to help centre yourself in times of stress. This is a great way to discover new strategies for achieving balance and harmony and feel empowered as you step back into the working year.
Join Porscha for all five Tuesday evening classes starting in the first week of March to enjoy the whole course, or feel free to drop in for any of the five classes to join the flow. Register for all four classes to save 10% ($72, rather than $80).
Our yoga classes are also livestreamed online for those who would like to join the class remotely. You only need a phone, tablet or laptop with internet access to join the livestream. (No camera, microphone or tidy rooms are required, as you only need to see the teacher to join this class: we won't be watching you!) To join the livestream, just register for the class through our website and you will receive the login instructions by email.
