Yoga for Meditation (6:30pm Mon 23 March)
Yoga for Meditation 6:30–7:15pm Monday with Porscha Cox.
If you have ever struggled to quiet your mind when trying to relax, or if you are keen to start a meditation practice and experience more mindfulness and peace in 2020, this is the class for you.
The physical practice of yoga has the unique ability to calm a busy mind and bring the body into a state of ease. These special 45-minute sessions use specific yoga asanas (poses) and breathing techniques to prepare the body for relaxing guided meditation. Join Porscha for this class from 6:30–7:15pm every Monday evening at Plant Empire.
All bodies and levels of experience welcome. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring your own yoga mat, along with some extra layers if the weather is cold.
Our yoga classes are also livestreamed online for those who would like to join the class remotely. You only need a phone, tablet or laptop with internet access to join the livestream. (No camera, microphone or tidy rooms are required, as you only need to see the teacher to join this class: we won't be watching you!) To join the livestream, just register for the class through our website and you will receive the login instructions by email.
