My work explores balance, rhythm, and interconnectedness through intricate circular compositions. Working in detailed, hand-rendered patterns, I create mandala-like forms that radiate outward from a central point, reflecting both inner stillness and outward expansion. This work unfolds through repetition, pattern, and circular movement. Beginning from a central point, each mark extends outward, building layers that suggest order while leaving space for ambiguity. The process is deliberate yet intuitive — a balance between structure and subtle variation. Colour plays an intentional role in my practice. Earthy golds ground the composition, while deep blacks and reds, create contrast and movement. Through this work, I invite viewers to slow down, to look closely, and to experience a sense of calm, harmony, and reflection. My intention is to create spaces of visual meditation through pieces that hold complexity and stillness at the same time.
About the artist.
I am a local Brisbane artist who creates and conducts art classes and workshops specially designed for kids. I love creating spaces where art brings people together through workshops and exhibitions, and have been working in this area for over 8 years. Conducting painting workshops allows me to share my creative process, connect with curious minds, and help participants express themselves freely through colours and brushstrokes. Each session is designed to be interactive, joyful, and accessible for all skill levels. Organizing exhibitions is equally fulfilling as it gives stories, emotions, and artistic journeys a platform to be seen and felt. Through these experiences, I aim to inspire confidence, creativity, and a deeper appreciation for art as a form of personal and collective expression.
