My Cup of Tea

This fancy hermit crab has had their stalked eyes focused on this pretty blue tea set for some time. They find their opportunity to claim their prize when the owner pours their morning pot of English Breakfast and returns to the kitchen for some scones. There’s a little more mess than they intended, but it’s not their concern now. This artwork is a jigsaw lino print that has been carved and then cut into various pieces, individually painted and joined together before hand pressing.

About the artist.

Hayley Moody is a lino print artist, who loves to give personality to her art, whether it's a curious cockatoo or a hungry pitcher plant. Hayley began printing while living in Canada 20 years ago, where she fell in love with Inuit art. While she is a scientist by day, Hayley loves to draw all things botanical and animal… and sometimes old trucks, and windmills, and fence posts.

Collection or delivery.

This item is part of the Not My Monkey Art Exhibition, on display at Plant Empire from 25 July - 16 August 2026. Exhibition items are available for sale in person or online.
