Trash Entomology: Litterbug III

Recycled food packaging. 27 x 22 x 3 cm
Litterbug is a framed assemblage using food packaging that is usually discarded. It aims to bring awareness to the fact that the smallest of creatures like insects, that are critical to our natural ecosystems, are impacted by the constant barrage of packaging we discard from food products. Their delicate, tiny natural worlds are polluted and damaged making it hard for them to survive. If we continue to consume and produce vast amounts of packaging. these species may disappear altogether.
