I See You

Ceramic with underglazes. 20 x 16 x 58 cm

In making this artwork, I have endeavoured to capture an evening creature and its mystery. The piece is a collection of hanging chimes made from wheel-thrown and hand-built components that have been painted with ceramic underglazes and strung with all-weather twine and metal hooks/rings. The chimes make subtle sound when the move in the wind.

About the artist.

Christine enjoys making ceramic pieces that people can use in their everyday lives. Christine’s studio at Boronia Heights is surrounded by splendid gums and other Australian native trees and palms that attract an abundance of birds and wildlife and are a constant source of inspiration for her pottery.

Collection or delivery.

This item is part of the Plant Empire Garden Art Exhibition, on display at Plant Empire from 17 October - 22 November 2026. Exhibition items are available for sale in person or online.
